True Light M.B. Church Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Update as of May 8, 2021
Let’s take another step forward. The COVID virus is releasing its grip on our lives, yet we cannot consider this crisis over while moving forward. Our number one priority is to do everything humanly possible to keep you safe while ministering at True Light Baptist Church. Health organizations are updating and modifying their guidance almost daily. With much prayer and consideration of health care guidance, I believe the risk of contracting COVID-19 is going down.
Therefore, effective immediately, we are updating our COVID-19 protocols to move forward from the pandemic. The updated protocols are designed to impact our behavior as a member and update our facility safeguards designed to help mitigate transmission. With these modifications, we invite members to return to in-person worship services on Sunday, May 8, 2021. Below you will find a listing of the updated protocols that will remain in effect until further notice. The church will be strictly enforcing these procedures, so please review them carefully.
Vaccination:
We encourage everyone 65 years of age or older to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending in-person worship services (full vaccination is considered two-weeks after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or two-weeks after a single-dose vaccine). Anyone 16 or older with high-risk medical conditions should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending in-person worship services (two-weeks after completing vaccination).
Healthy Behavior:
If you have questions, feel free to contact any member of the Leadership Team.
One in Jesus,
Pastor Cheeks & The Leadership Team
